Khan was created on 2 November 1965 in a Muslim family in New Delhi. He spent the first five years of his life in Mangalore, where his maternal grandfather, Ifthikar Ahmed, served as the principle engineer of the port in the 1960s. He also went to the National University of Theatre in Delhi during his early on job in Bollywood. His father died of tumors in 1981, and his mom passed on in 1991 from difficulties of diabetes. Following the death of their parents, his old sister, Shahnaz Lalarukh, blessed in 1960, dropped into a depressed point out and Khan got on the responsibility of caring for her.
