Shah Rukh Khan (created Shahrukh Khan; 2 November 1965), known as SRK also, is an Indian film actor, producer and tv set personality. Described in the media as the "Baadshah of Bollywood", "King of Bollywood" or "King Khan", he has appeared in more than 80 Bollywood films, and earned numerous accolades, including 14 Filmfare Awards. Khan has a substantial following in Asia and the Indian diaspora worldwide. Khan was created on 2 November 1965 in woman family in New Delhi. He spent the first five years of his life in Mangalore, where his maternal grandfather, Ifthikar Ahmed, served as the chief engineer of the port in the 1960s. Matching to Khan, his paternal grandfather, Jan Muhammad, an ethnic Pathan was from Afghanistan. Shah Rukh Khan also said in his interviews that he is a Pathan from Peshawar and his entire family used to speak Hindko words at home. Khan's father, Meer Taj Mohammed Khan, was an Indian self-reliance activist in Peshawar, United kingdom India (present-day Pakistan). By 2010, Khan's paternal family was still moving into Shah Wali Qataal section of Peshawar's Qissa Khawani Bazaar. Meer was a follower of Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan, and associated with the All Indian National Congress. He relocated to New Delhi in 1948 partition of India. Khan's mother, Lateef Fatima, was the princess of a mature authorities engineer. His parents were hitched in 1959. Khan defined himself on Twitter as "50 % Hyderabadi (mother), one half Pathan (father), [and] some Kashmiri (grandmother)". After the death of the parents, his aged sister, Shahnaz Lalarukh, blessed in 1960, dropped into a depressed express and Khan got on the responsibility of looking after her. Shahnaz continues to live with her brother and his family in their Mumbai mansion.
Although Khan was given the birth name Shahrukh Khan, he prefers his name to be written as Shah Rukh Khan, and is referred to by the acronym SRK commonly. He married Gauri Chibber, a Punjabi Hindu, october 1991 in a normal Hindu wedding ceremony on 25, after a six-year courtship. They have a boy Aryan (created 1997) and a little princess Suhana (delivered 2000). In 2013, they became parents of any third child called AbRam, who was simply born by having a surrogate mother. Regarding to Khan, while he thinks in Islam highly, he also prices his wife's religion. His children follow both religions; at home the Qur'an can be found next to the Hindu deities.
