India (2007) and a guy with Asperger symptoms in my own Name Is Khan (2010). His highest-grossing videos include the comedies Chennai Exhibit (2013) and Happy New Season (2014). Many of his videos display themes of Indian national personal information and relationships with diaspora communities, or gender, racial, social and religious variations and grievances. Khan was born on 2 November 1965 in lady family in New Delhi. He spent the first five many years of his life in Mangalore, where his maternal grandfather, Ifthikar Ahmed, served as the principle engineer of the port in the 1960s. Corresponding to Khan, his paternal grandfather, Jan Muhammad, an ethnic Pathan was from Afghanistan. Shah Rukh Khan also said in his interviews that he is a Pathan from Peshawar and his whole family used to speak Hindko language at home. Khan's dad, Meer Taj Mohammed Khan, was an Indian independence activist in Peshawar, English India (present-day Pakistan). By 2010, Khan's paternal family was still residing in Shah Wali Qataal part of Peshawar's Qissa Khawani Bazaar. Meer was a follower of Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan, and associated with the All Indian Country wide Congress. He moved to New Delhi in 1948 partition of India. Khan's mother, Lateef Fatima, was the child of a senior administration engineer. His parents were hitched in 1959. Khan identified himself on Twitter as "1 / 2 Hyderabadi (mom), 50 percent Pathan (father), [and] some Kashmiri (grandmother)". His paternal cousins in Peshawar declare that the grouped family is of Hindkowan origin from Kashmir, not Pashtun, and also contradict the claim that his grandfather was from Afghanistan.



Khan was raised in the Rajendra Nagar neighbourhood of Delhi. His father had several business ventures including a restaurant, and the family lived a middle-class life in rented apartments. Khan attended St. Columba's Institution in central Delhi where he excelled in his studies and in sports activities such as hockey and sports, and received the school's highest honor, the Sword of Honour. In his youth, he acted in level plays and received reward for his imitations of Bollywood celebrities, which his favourites were Dilip Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan and Mumtaz. One of is own childhood friends and acting partners was Amrita Singh, who became a Bollywood actress. Khan enrolled at Hansraj University (1985-88) to earn his bachelor's level in Economics, but put in much of his time at Delhi's Theatre Action Group (Label), where he researched behaving under the mentorship of theater director Barry John. After Hansraj, he began learning for a master's level in Mass Marketing communications at Jamia Millia Islamia, but kept to pursue his acting career. He also went to the National School of Theatre in Delhi during his early on career in Bollywood. His dad died of malignancy in 1981, and his mother passed away in 1991 from complications of diabetes. After the death of the parents, his more mature sister, Shahnaz Lalarukh, created in 1960, fell into a frustrated talk about and Khan needed on the responsibility of caring for her. Shahnaz continues to live with her brother and his family in their Mumbai mansion.


Although Khan was presented with the labor and birth name Shahrukh Khan, he prefers his name to be written as Shah Rukh Khan, and is commonly described by the acronym SRK. He married Gauri Chibber, a Punjabi Hindu, october 1991 in a traditional Hindu wedding ceremony on 25, following a six-year courtship. They have a kid Aryan (given birth to 1997) and a little girl Suhana (created 2000). In 2013, they became parents of your third child called AbRam, who was simply born through a surrogate mother.
