Shah Rukh Khan (given birth to Shahrukh Khan; 2 November 1965), known as SRK also, can be an Indian film professional, producer and tv personality. Khan was created on 2 November 1965 in woman family in New Delhi. He spent the first five many years of his life in Mangalore, where his maternal grandfather, Ifthikar Ahmed, served as the principle engineer of the port in the 1960s. According to Khan, his paternal grandfather, Jan Muhammad, an ethnic Pathan was from Afghanistan. Shah Rukh Khan also said in his interviews that he is a Pathan from Peshawar and his whole family used to speak Hindko terms at home. Khan's daddy, Meer Taj Mohammed Khan, was an Indian freedom activist in Peshawar, English India (present-day Pakistan). By 2010, Khan's paternal family was still living in Shah Wali Qataal area of Peshawar's Qissa Khawani Bazaar. Meer was a follower of Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan, and associated with the All Indian Country wide Congress. He transferred to New Delhi in 1948 partition of India. Khan grew in the Rajendra Nagar neighbourhood of Delhi up. His father had several businesses including a restaurant, and the family lived a middle-class life in rented apartments. Khan attended St. Columba's University in central Delhi where he excelled in his studies and in sports activities such as hockey and basketball, and received the school's highest honor, the Sword of Honour. In his children, he acted in stage works and received reward for his imitations of Bollywood stars, of which his favourites were Dilip Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan and Mumtaz. One of his childhood friends and acting partners was Amrita Singh, who became a Bollywood actress. Khan enrolled at Hansraj University (1985-88) to earn his bachelor's level in Economics, but put in much of his time at Delhi's Theatre Action Group (TAG), where he studied acting under the mentorship of theater director Barry John. After Hansraj, he began learning for a master's level in Mass Marketing communications at Jamia Millia Islamia, but kept to go after his acting profession. He also went to the National College of Dilemma in Delhi during his early profession in Bollywood. His father died of malignancy in 1981, and his mom passed away in 1991 from problems of diabetes.
