Shah Rukh Khan (given birth to Shahrukh Khan; 2 November 1965), also known as SRK, can be an Indian film professional, producer and television set personality. Khan began his job with appearances in several tv series in the later 1980s. He made his Bollywood debut in 1992 with Deewana. Early in his profession, Khan was accepted for portraying villainous jobs in the motion pictures Darr (1993), Baazigar (1993) and Anjaam (1994). Then rose to prominence after starring in a series of romantic films, including Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995), Dil To Pagal Hai (1997), Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998), Mohabbatein (2000) and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham... (2001). He attained critical acclaim for his portrayal of any alcoholic in Devdas (2002), a NASA scientist in Swades (2004), a hockey mentor in Chak De! India (2007) and a guy with Asperger symptoms in My Name Is Khan (2010). His highest-grossing videos are the comedies Chennai Exhibit (2013) and Happy New Time (2014). Khan was created on 2 November 1965 in a Muslim family in New Delhi. He spent the first five many years of his life in Mangalore, where his maternal grandfather, Ifthikar Ahmed, served as the principle engineer of the port in the 1960s. Regarding to Khan, his paternal grandfather, Jan Muhammad, an ethnic Pathan was from Afghanistan. Khan's mom, Lateef Fatima, was the little princess of a mature federal government engineer. His parents were married in 1959. Khan explained himself on Twitter as "fifty percent Hyderabadi (mother), one half Pathan (father), [and] some Kashmiri (grandmother)". His paternal cousins in Peshawar declare that the family is of Hindkowan origin from Kashmir, not Pashtun, and also contradict the claim that his grandfather was from Afghanistan.



Khan grew in the Rajendra Nagar neighbourhood of Delhi up. His father had several business ventures including a restaurant, and the family lived a middle-class life in rented apartments. Khan attended St. Columba's School in central Delhi where he excelled in his studies and in athletics such as hockey and soccer, and received the school's highest award, the Sword of Honour. In his youngsters, he acted in stage takes on and received praise for his imitations of Bollywood stars, of which his favourites were Dilip Kumar, Amitabh Mumtaz and Bachchan. Although Khan was given the beginning name Shahrukh Khan, he prefers his name to be written as Shah Rukh Khan, and is often referred to by the acronym SRK. He married Gauri Chibber, a Punjabi Hindu, october 1991 in a traditional Hindu wedding ceremony on 25, after a six-year courtship. They have a child Aryan (delivered 1997) and a little girl Suhana (delivered 2000). In 2013, they became parents of any third child known as AbRam, who was simply born via a surrogate mother. Matching to Khan, while he is convinced in Islam highly, he also values his wife's religious beliefs. His children follow both religions; at home the Qur'an can be found next to the Hindu deities.
