Shah Rukh Khan (born Shahrukh Khan; 2 November 1965), known as SRK also, can be an Indian film actor, television and producer personality. Khan was born on 2 November 1965 in female family in New Delhi. He spent the first five years of his life in Mangalore, where his maternal grandfather, Ifthikar Ahmed, served as the principle engineer of the port in the 1960s. Corresponding to Khan, his paternal grandfather, Jan Muhammad, an ethnic Pathan was from Afghanistan. Shah Rukh Khan also said in his interviews that he is a Pathan from Peshawar and his whole family used to speak Hindko terminology at home. Khan's daddy, Meer Taj Mohammed Khan, was an Indian freedom activist in Peshawar, English India (present-day Pakistan). As of 2010, Khan's paternal family was still surviving in Shah Wali Qataal portion of Peshawar's Qissa Khawani Bazaar. Meer was a follower of Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan, and associated with the All Indian Country wide Congress. He shifted to New Delhi in 1948 partition of India. Khan's mom, Lateef Fatima, was the child of a older administration engineer. His parents were married in 1959. Khan described himself on Twitter as "50 percent Hyderabadi (mom), fifty percent Pathan (daddy), [and] some Kashmiri (grandmother)". Khan grew in the Rajendra Nagar neighbourhood of Delhi up. His father had several businesses including a restaurant, and the grouped family resided a middle-class life in rented rentals. Khan attended St. Columba's School in central Delhi where he excelled in his studies and in activities such as hockey and football, and received the school's highest award, the Sword of Honour. In his children, he acted in stage has and received praise for his imitations of Bollywood celebrities, of which his favourites were Dilip Kumar, Amitabh Mumtaz and Bachchan. One of his childhood friends and acting partners was Amrita Singh, who became a Bollywood actress. After Hansraj, he began studying for a master's degree in Mass Marketing communications at Jamia Millia Islamia, but kept to follow his acting job. He also went to the National Institution of Play in Delhi during his early profession in Bollywood. His dad died of cancers in 1981, and his mom died in 1991 from problems of diabetes. Following the death of these parents, his more aged sister, Shahnaz Lalarukh, created in 1960, fell into a depressed Khan and status got on the duty of looking after her. Shahnaz continues to live with her brother and his family in their Mumbai mansion.
Although Khan was given the birth name Shahrukh Khan, he prefers his name to be written as Shah Rukh Khan, and is often described by the acronym SRK. He married Gauri Chibber, a Punjabi Hindu, in a normal Hindu marriage ceremony on 25 October 1991, after having a six-year courtship. They have a kid Aryan (given birth to 1997) and a daughter Suhana (born 2000). In 2013, they truly became parents of a third child named AbRam, who was simply born by way of a surrogate mother. According to Khan, while he highly thinks in Islam, he also values his wife's religion. His children follow both religions; at home the Qur'an is situated next to the Hindu deities.
