Shah Rukh Khan (delivered Shahrukh Khan; 2 November 1965), known as SRK also, is an Indian film acting professional, television and producer personality. Khan was created on 2 November 1965 in a Muslim family in New Delhi. He spent the first five many years of his life in Mangalore, where his maternal grandfather, Ifthikar Ahmed, served as the chief engineer of the port in the 1960s. According to Khan, his paternal grandfather, Jan Muhammad, an ethnic Pathan was from Afghanistan. Khan grew in the Rajendra Nagar neighbourhood of Delhi up. His father had several businesses including a restaurant, and the family lived a middle-class life in rented apartments. Khan attended St. Columba's University in central Delhi where he excelled in his studies and in sports such as hockey and soccer, and received the school's highest honor, the Sword of Honour. In his children, he acted in level takes on and received praise for his imitations of Bollywood stars, which his favourites were Dilip Kumar, Amitabh Mumtaz and Bachchan. After Hansraj, he started out learning for a master's degree in Mass Marketing communications at Jamia Millia Islamia, but still left to follow his acting career. He also attended the National College of Theatre in Delhi during his early on career in Bollywood. His dad died of tumor in 1981, and his mom perished in 1991 from difficulties of diabetes. After the death of their parents, his more aged sister, Shahnaz Lalarukh, blessed in 1960, fell into a depressed Khan and talk about took on the duty of looking after her.
