After the death of the parents, his more aged sister, Shahnaz Lalarukh, blessed in 1960, fell into a frustrated state and Khan required on the responsibility of looking after her. Shahnaz continues to live with her brother and his family in their Mumbai mansion.
Although Khan was presented with the delivery name Shahrukh Khan, he prefers his name to be written as Shah Rukh Khan, and is commonly described by the acronym SRK. He married Gauri Chibber, a Punjabi Hindu, in a normal Hindu marriage ceremony on 25 October 1991, after having a six-year courtship. They have a kid Aryan (blessed 1997) and a child Suhana (created 2000). In 2013, they truly became parents of the third child named AbRam, who was born via a surrogate mother.
