Shah Rukh Khan (born Shahrukh Khan; 2 November 1965), known as SRK also, can be an Indian film professional, producer and tv personality. He spent the first five years of his life in Mangalore, where his maternal grandfather, Ifthikar Ahmed, served as the chief engineer of the port in the 1960s. Matching to Khan, his paternal grandfather, Jan Muhammad, an ethnic Pathan was from Afghanistan. Shah Rukh Khan also said in his interviews that he's a Pathan from Peshawar and his entire family used to speak Hindko words at home. Khan's dad, Meer Taj Mohammed Khan, was an Indian freedom activist in Peshawar, United kingdom India (present-day Pakistan). As of 2010, Khan's paternal family was still surviving in Shah Wali Qataal part of Peshawar's Qissa Khawani Bazaar. Meer was a follower of Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan, and affiliated with the All Indian National Congress. He changed to New Delhi in 1948 partition of India. After the death of these parents, his more aged sister, Shahnaz Lalarukh, blessed in 1960, fell into a depressed status and Khan got on the responsibility of looking after her. Although Khan was given the delivery name Shahrukh Khan, he prefers his name to be written as Shah Rukh Khan, and is often referred to by the acronym SRK. He married Gauri Chibber, a Punjabi Hindu, october 1991 in a traditional Hindu marriage ceremony on 25, after having a six-year courtship. They have a child Aryan (created 1997) and a girl Suhana (given birth to 2000). In 2013, they became parents of the third child known as AbRam, who was simply born by using a surrogate mother. According to Khan, while he strongly is convinced in Islam, he also values his wife's faith. His children follow both religions; at home the Qur'an is situated next to the Hindu deities.
