Shah Rukh Khan (delivered Shahrukh Khan; 2 November 1965), known as SRK also, is an Indian film acting professional, television and producer personality. Khan was born on 2 November 1965 in a Muslim family in New Delhi. Khan's mother, Lateef Fatima, was the child of a mature federal engineer. His parents were committed in 1959. Khan explained himself on Twitter as "one half Hyderabadi (mom), 50 % Pathan (daddy), [and] some Kashmiri (grandmother)". His paternal cousins in Peshawar declare that the grouped family is of Hindkowan origin from Kashmir, not Pashtun, and contradict the claim that his grandfather was from Afghanistan also.



Khan grew in the Rajendra Nagar neighbourhood of Delhi up. His father had several business ventures including a restaurant, and the family lived a middle-class life in rented apartments. Khan attended St. Columba's School in central Delhi where he excelled in his studies and in athletics such as hockey and sports, and received the school's highest honor, the Sword of Honour. In his children, he acted in stage takes on and received compliment for his imitations of Bollywood celebrities, which his favourites were Dilip Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan and Mumtaz. One of his childhood friends and acting partners was Amrita Singh, who became a Bollywood actress. Khan enrolled at Hansraj College (1985-88) to earn his bachelor's level in Economics, but put in a lot of his time at Delhi's Theater Action Group (TAG), where he researched operating under the mentorship of theater director Barry John. After Hansraj, he started out studying for a master's degree in Mass Marketing communications at Jamia Millia Islamia, but left to go after his acting job. He also went to the National Institution of Play in Delhi during his early on job in Bollywood. His daddy died of cancer tumor in 1981, and his mother passed on in 1991 from issues of diabetes. Following the death of their parents, his aged sister, Shahnaz Lalarukh, delivered in 1960, fell into a stressed out Khan and point out required on the duty of looking after her.
