Shah Rukh Khan (born Shahrukh Khan; 2 November 1965), also known as SRK, is an Indian film professional, television and producer personality. Described in the media as the "Baadshah of Bollywood", "King of Bollywood" or "King Khan", he has appeared in more than 80 Bollywood films, and earned numerous accolades, including 14 Filmfare Awards. Khan has a significant following in Asia and the Indian diaspora worldwide. In terms of audience income and size, he has been referred to as one of the very most successful film stars on the globe.

Khan started out his career with appearances in several television series in the overdue 1980s. He made his Bollywood debut in 1992 with Deewana. (2001). He received critical acclaim for his portrayal of any alcoholic in Devdas (2002), a NASA scientist in Swades (2004), a hockey mentor in Chak De! India (2007) and a man with Asperger syndrome in my own Name Is Khan (2010). His highest-grossing movies are the comedies Chennai Express (2013) and Happy New Year (2014). He also went to the National College of Crisis in Delhi during his early on profession in Bollywood. His dad died of tumor in 1981, and his mom passed on in 1991 from difficulties of diabetes.
