Shah Rukh Khan (given birth to Shahrukh Khan; 2 November 1965), known as SRK also, can be an Indian film actor, television and producer personality. Khan started his profession with appearances in a number of tv set series in the late 1980s. He made his Bollywood debut in 1992 with Deewana. Early in his job, Khan was recognised for portraying villainous roles in the movies Darr (1993), Baazigar (1993) and Anjaam (1994). Then rose to prominence after starring in some romantic motion pictures, including Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995), Dil To Pagal Hai (1997), Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998), Mohabbatein (2000) and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham... (2001). He acquired critical acclaim for his portrayal of alcoholic in Devdas (2002), a NASA scientist in Swades (2004), a hockey trainer in Chak De! India (2007) and a man with Asperger syndrome in My Name Is Khan (2010). His highest-grossing motion pictures include the comedies Chennai Express (2013) and Happy New Calendar year (2014). Khan was born on 2 November 1965 in female family in New Delhi. Khan identified himself on Twitter as "50 % Hyderabadi (mom), 50 percent Pathan (father), [and] some Kashmiri (grandmother)". His paternal cousins in Peshawar claim that the family is of Hindkowan origin from Kashmir, not Pashtun, and also contradict the declare that his grandfather was from Afghanistan.
