Shah Rukh Khan (blessed Shahrukh Khan; 2 November 1965), known as SRK also, can be an Indian film acting professional, producer and television personality. Described in the media as the "Baadshah of Bollywood", "King of Bollywood" or "King Khan", he has appeared in more than 80 Bollywood films, and earned numerous accolades, including 14 Filmfare Awards. Khan commenced his job with appearances in several television series in the late 1980s. He made his Bollywood debut in 1992 with Deewana. Meer was a follower of Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan, and associated with the All Indian National Congress. He migrated to New Delhi in 1948 partition of India. Khan's mother, Lateef Fatima, was the little girl of a senior authorities engineer. His parents were married in 1959. Khan identified himself on Twitter as "half Hyderabadi (mother), 50 % Pathan (dad), [and] some Kashmiri (grandmother)". His paternal cousins in Peshawar declare that the grouped family is of Hindkowan origins from Kashmir, not Pashtun, and contradict the declare that his grandfather was from Afghanistan also.



Khan was raised in the Rajendra Nagar neighbourhood of Delhi. His father had several businesses including a restaurant, and the grouped family lived a middle-class life in rented flats. After Hansraj, he began studying for a master's degree in Mass Communications at Jamia Millia Islamia, but remaining to go after his acting career. He also attended the National School of Theatre in Delhi during his early on profession in Bollywood. His daddy died of cancer tumor in 1981, and his mother perished in 1991 from complications of diabetes. Following the death of the parents, his older sister, Shahnaz Lalarukh, blessed in 1960, fell into a despondent Khan and condition took on the duty of looking after her. Shahnaz is constantly on the live with her brother and his family in their Mumbai mansion.


Although Khan was presented with the beginning name Shahrukh Khan, he prefers his name to be written as Shah Rukh Khan, and is often referred to by the acronym SRK. He married Gauri Chibber, a Punjabi Hindu, in a normal Hindu marriage ceremony on 25 October 1991, after having a six-year courtship. They have a kid Aryan (created 1997) and a daughter Suhana (delivered 2000). In 2013, they truly became parents of an third child known as AbRam, who was simply born through a surrogate mother. Regarding to Khan, while he firmly feels in Islam, he also prices his wife's religious beliefs. His children follow both religions; at home the Qur'an can be found next to the Hindu deities.
