Shah Rukh Khan (born Shahrukh Khan; 2 November 1965), known as SRK also, can be an Indian film acting professional, producer and tv personality. Referred to in the media as the "Baadshah of Bollywood", "King of Bollywood" or "King Khan", he has appeared in more than 80 Bollywood films, and earned numerous accolades, including 14 Filmfare Awards. Khan has a significant following in Asia and the Indian diaspora worldwide. In terms of audience size and income, he has been referred to as one of the very most successful film personalities in the global world.

Khan started his career with appearances in a number of television series in the late 1980s. He made his Bollywood debut in 1992 with Deewana. India (2007) and a man with Asperger symptoms in my own Name Is Khan (2010). His highest-grossing films are the comedies Chennai Express (2013) and Happy New Time (2014). Many of his movies screen styles of Indian nationwide identity and cable connections with diaspora communities, or gender, racial, social and religious variations and grievances. For his contributions to film, the Government of India honoured him with the Padma Shri, and the Government of France awarded him both Ordre des Arts et des Lettres and the L?gion d'honneur.
By 2015, Khan is co-chairman of the film creation company Red Chillies Entertainment and its subsidiaries, and it is the co-owner of the Indian Top Little league cricket team Kolkata Knight Riders. He is a frequent tv set stage and presenter show performer. The media often label him as "Brand SRK" because of his many endorsement and entrepreneurship ventures. Khan was born on 2 November 1965 in female family in New Delhi. He spent the first five many years of his life in Mangalore, where his maternal grandfather, Ifthikar Ahmed, served as the chief engineer of the port in the 1960s. Matching to Khan, his paternal grandfather, Jan Muhammad, an cultural Pathan was from Afghanistan. Shah Rukh Khan also said in his interviews that he's a Pathan from Peshawar and his complete family used to speak Hindko terminology at home. Khan's father, Meer Taj Mohammed Khan, was an Indian freedom activist in Peshawar, British India (present-day Pakistan). As of 2010, Khan's paternal family was still moving into Shah Wali Qataal section of Peshawar's Qissa Khawani Bazaar. Meer was a follower of Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan, and associated with the All Indian Country wide Congress. He migrated to New Delhi in 1948 partition of India. Khan's mom, Lateef Fatima, was the little princess of a mature administration engineer. His parents were married in 1959. Khan explained himself on Twitter as "one half Hyderabadi (mom), 50 percent Pathan (daddy), [and] some Kashmiri (grandmother)". His paternal cousins in Peshawar claim that the family is of Hindkowan source from Kashmir, not Pashtun, and contradict the claim that his grandfather was from Afghanistan also.
Khan grew in the Rajendra Nagar neighbourhood of Delhi up. His father had several business ventures including a restaurant, and the grouped family resided a middle-class life in rented flats. Khan attended St. Columba's Institution in central Delhi where he excelled in his studies and in sports such as hockey and football, and received the school's highest award, the Sword of Honour. In his young ones, he acted in stage plays and received reward for his imitations of Bollywood celebrities, which his favourites were Dilip Kumar, Amitabh Mumtaz and Bachchan. One of his childhood friends and acting partners was Amrita Singh, who became a Bollywood actress. After Hansraj, he began learning for a master's degree in Mass Marketing communications at Jamia Millia Islamia, but still left to pursue his acting career. He also went to the National College of Theatre in Delhi during his early job in Bollywood. His daddy died of tumor in 1981, and his mom died in 1991 from problems of diabetes. After the death with their parents, his old sister, Shahnaz Lalarukh, delivered in 1960, dropped into a frustrated status and Khan got on the duty of looking after her. Shahnaz is constantly on the live with her brother and his family in their Mumbai mansion.
Although Khan was given the delivery name Shahrukh Khan, he prefers his name to be written as Shah Rukh Khan, and is often referred to by the acronym SRK. He married Gauri Chibber, a Punjabi Hindu, october 1991 in a traditional Hindu wedding ceremony on 25, after a six-year courtship. They have a kid Aryan (blessed 1997) and a daughter Suhana (blessed 2000). In 2013, they truly became parents of any third child known as AbRam, who was simply born via a surrogate mother. Corresponding to Khan, while he thinks in Islam highly, he also values his wife's religion. His children follow both religions; at home the Qur'an is situated next to the Hindu deities.
