Shah Rukh Khan (blessed Shahrukh Khan; 2 November 1965), also known as SRK, can be an Indian film acting professional, producer and tv personality. Khan started out his job with appearances in several tv series in the overdue 1980s. He made his Bollywood debut in 1992 with Deewana. Khan was born on 2 November 1965 in female family in New Delhi. He spent the first five years of his life in Mangalore, where his maternal grandfather, Ifthikar Ahmed, served as the principle engineer of the port in the 1960s. Relating to Khan, his paternal grandfather, Jan Muhammad, an ethnic Pathan was from Afghanistan. Shah Rukh Khan also said in his interviews that he is a Pathan from Peshawar and his entire family used to speak Hindko terms at home. Khan's father, Meer Taj Mohammed Khan, was an Indian self-reliance activist in Peshawar, United kingdom India (present-day Pakistan). By 2010, Khan's paternal family was still residing in Shah Wali Qataal part of Peshawar's Qissa Khawani Bazaar. Meer was a follower of Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan, and associated with the All Indian Country wide Congress. He relocated to New Delhi in 1948 partition of India. Khan's mom, Lateef Fatima, was the little princess of a older administration engineer. His parents were hitched in 1959. Khan described himself on Twitter as "50 percent Hyderabadi (mother), fifty percent Pathan (daddy), [and] some Kashmiri (grandmother)". His paternal cousins in Peshawar claim that the grouped family is of Hindkowan origin from Kashmir, not Pashtun, and also contradict the claim that his grandfather was from Afghanistan.



Khan grew in the Rajendra Nagar neighbourhood of Delhi up. His father had several businesses including a restaurant, and the grouped family resided a middle-class life in rented apartments. Khan attended St. Columba's Institution in central Delhi where he excelled in his studies and in athletics such as hockey and soccer, and received the school's highest honor, the Sword of Honour. In his young ones, he acted in stage takes on and received compliment for his imitations of Bollywood actors, of which his favourites were Dilip Kumar, Amitabh Mumtaz and Bachchan. Following the death of these parents, his aged sister, Shahnaz Lalarukh, born in 1960, fell into a depressed Khan and status got on the responsibility of looking after her. Shahnaz continues to live with her brother and his family in their Mumbai mansion.


Although Khan was given the birth name Shahrukh Khan, he prefers his name to be written as Shah Rukh Khan, which is described by the acronym SRK commonly. He married Gauri Chibber, a Punjabi Hindu, october 1991 in a traditional Hindu marriage ceremony on 25, following a six-year courtship. They have a boy Aryan (blessed 1997) and a little princess Suhana (given birth to 2000). In 2013, they became parents of an third child known as AbRam, who was simply born by having a surrogate mother. Relating to Khan, while he believes in Islam firmly, he also prices his wife's religious beliefs. His children follow both religions; at home the Qur'an is situated next to the Hindu deities.
