Shah Rukh Khan (delivered Shahrukh Khan; 2 November 1965), known as SRK also, can be an Indian film actor, producer and television set personality. Meer was a follower of Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan, and associated with the All Indian National Congress. He migrated to New Delhi in 1948 partition of India. Khan's mother, Lateef Fatima, was the little princess of a senior government engineer. His parents were committed in 1959. Khan explained himself on Twitter as "fifty percent Hyderabadi (mother), half Pathan (father), [and] some Kashmiri (grandmother)". His paternal cousins in Peshawar claim that the family is of Hindkowan origins from Kashmir, not Pashtun, and also contradict the declare that his grandfather was from Afghanistan.

After the death of the parents, his elderly sister, Shahnaz Lalarukh, delivered in 1960, fell into a frustrated express and Khan got on the responsibility of caring for her. Shahnaz continues to live with her brother and his family in their Mumbai mansion.


Although Khan was given the labor and birth name Shahrukh Khan, he prefers his name to be written as Shah Rukh Khan, and is often referred to by the acronym SRK. He married Gauri Chibber, a Punjabi Hindu, in a normal Hindu marriage ceremony on 25 October 1991, after having a six-year courtship. They have a son Aryan (created 1997) and a princess Suhana (born 2000). In 2013, they became parents of an third child called AbRam, who was born via a surrogate mother. Relating to Khan, while he is convinced in Islam highly, he also prices his wife's religion. His children follow both religions; at home the Qur'an can be found next to the Hindu deities.
