Shah Rukh Khan (born Shahrukh Khan; 2 November 1965), known as SRK also, can be an Indian film actor, producer and tv personality. Khan was born on 2 November 1965 in female family in New Delhi. He spent the first five years of his life in Mangalore, where his maternal grandfather, Ifthikar Ahmed, served as the chief engineer of the port in the 1960s. Regarding to Khan, his paternal grandfather, Jan Muhammad, an cultural Pathan was from Afghanistan. Shah Rukh Khan also said in his interviews that he is a Pathan from Peshawar and his whole family used to speak Hindko language at home. Khan's father, Meer Taj Mohammed Khan, was an Indian independence activist in Peshawar, United kingdom India (present-day Pakistan). As of 2010, Khan's paternal family was still residing in Shah Wali Qataal portion of Peshawar's Qissa Khawani Bazaar. Meer was a follower of Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan, and affiliated with the All Indian Country wide Congress. He migrated to New Delhi in 1948 partition of India. Khan's mom, Lateef Fatima, was the girl of a mature administration engineer. His parents were hitched in 1959. Khan referred to himself on Twitter as "fifty percent Hyderabadi (mother), 50 percent Pathan (dad), [and] some Kashmiri (grandmother)". His paternal cousins in Peshawar declare that the grouped family is of Hindkowan source from Kashmir, not Pashtun, and also contradict the declare that his grandfather was from Afghanistan.
Khan grew up in the Rajendra Nagar neighbourhood of Delhi. His father had several business ventures including a restaurant, and the grouped family resided a middle-class life in rented flats. According to Khan, while he highly feels in Islam, he also prices his wife's religion. His children follow both religions; at home the Qur'an is situated next to the Hindu deities.
