Shah Rukh Khan (blessed Shahrukh Khan; 2 November 1965), also known as SRK, is an Indian film acting professional, producer and television personality. Khan was created on 2 November 1965 in female family in New Delhi. He spent the first five years of his life in Mangalore, where his maternal grandfather, Ifthikar Ahmed, served as the principle engineer of the port in the 1960s. Regarding to Khan, his paternal grandfather, Jan Muhammad, an cultural Pathan was from Afghanistan. Shah Rukh Khan also said in his interviews that he's a Pathan from Peshawar and his complete family used to speak Hindko dialect at home. Khan's daddy, Meer Taj Mohammed Khan, was an Indian independence activist in Peshawar, English India (present-day Pakistan). By 2010, Khan's paternal family was still moving into Shah Wali Qataal region of Peshawar's Qissa Khawani Bazaar. Meer was a follower of Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan, and associated with the All Indian Country wide Congress. He changed to New Delhi in 1948 partition of India. He also attended the National University of Play in Delhi during his early career in Bollywood. His father died of cancer tumor in 1981, and his mom passed away in 1991 from issues of diabetes.
